Your remission is such an incredible gift!

Thank you so much for this generous shopping spree giveaway. This year may be the start of a new tradition with friends -- we're making the trip to one of those neighborhoods that go all out with the Christmas lights. It's quite the effort to get there but we're looking forward to it! Happy Holidays and all the best for 2012. -amy

Christmas is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas. What a beautiful time of year. Today our company collected and donated more toys than I expected to an organization here in Ft. Lauderdale that provides toys to homeless families who cannot afford to buy presents so that the children can open a gift that’s given to them by a loved one, not a charity. They rely entirely on donations to do this. I'm so proud of how many toys were brought into work!

Oh Ms. Kate, what a WONDERFUL gift you are giving. $100. WOW. You are so gracious. I would like to share one of my favorite Christmas memories. Hopefully it will make you smile. When my oldest daughter (who now is 18 and becoming a Mommy herself) was about 4 I was decorating the tree. That year I was doing all red and white with red robins. As I was finishing the tree, my daughter came into the room and said, "Look Mommy, there's a pecker on the tree". She was meaning wood pecker. I thought I was going to pee my pants I laughed SO hard. To this day I giggle everytime I think about it. She HATES that story. Just 1 out of MANY memories I have that make me giggle. I'll share more I'm sure. Merry Christmas my dear friend ~

Ok, so I am reading your blog and looking at gorgeous pictures of 'sparkly objects' (that means anything I like). And, you keep saying Country Roads. Well in my world Country Roads is in Orange, CA, so, I am wondering where your Country Road is, and low and behold, it's in Orange, CA. I grew up in OC and lived there for, lets just say most of my life. I now live an hour away, so, I don't get to my weekly Orange circle shopping. But, I was in a few weeks ago, and I now recognize that I saw your space. Lovely things. Take care and Bless you and your family, Paula Lusk
